      Big Indonesian Dictionary (2008) defines service as a way to help set up (take care of) what is required of a person. Definition of service = S.E.R.V.I.C.E. According to Barata (2004) S.E.R.V.I.C.E term is defined as follows:

      a. Self awareness, instill self-awareness so as to understand the position, to be able to provide services properly.

Friendly Behavior Characteristics In the science of Psychology

   Irawan (2003) found a friendly means lots of smile and be polite. The characteristic behaviors that demonstrate hospitality in providing services according to Rahmayanty (2010) are as follows:
            a. Give a sincere smile and friendly to customers which may mean that we are ready to serve
            b. Make eye contact with customers
            c. Understand and listen to customer complaints
            d. Do not interrupt the customer
            e. Mention the name of a customer during a conversation with the customer
            f. Guide the customer in completing the form or other data entry
    Lovelock and Wright (2005) suggests the characteristics of employees who can help create a friendly atmosphere, namely: a) warm, b) fun, and c) attentive.
    From the description above opinion can be concluded that the characteristics of friendly behavior is a smile, be polite, make eye contact, a willingness to listen to customer complaints, do not interrupt the customer, mentioning the name of the customer, willingness to guide and assist customers, warm, fun, and attention.
